A large number of indigenous weapons were found in Habibrabir Hall.
Dinajpur: Dinajpur Haji Mohammad Danesh University of Science and Technology (Habiprobi) raided various halls and recovered a large number of indigenous weapons.
On Tuesday (August 14) from noon to evening, members of the law enforcement forces, teachers and students recovered these weapons from various halls.
On this day, raids were conducted at Tajuddin Hall, Sheikh Russell, Zia and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Halls in Habiprabi. Which lasts till evening.
129 samurai, 300 steel and iron pipes, four petrol bombs, 298 rods, 17 hockey sticks, 473 bamboo sticks, 12 liquor bottles, 48 helmets, 27 cricket stumps, three iron chains, 36 wooden sticks, 12 plastic pipes, Two Hesco blades, a dagger, ganja, cigarettes and various drugs were recovered.
Later these weapons were handed over to the army by the students. The university administration said that such campaign will continue to bring back the fair environment of the university.
